How it works

Reviewers annotate exact spans of extracted content, record interpretation notes and assess data quality. Annotations are appended alongside the retained original and the extraction that produced them, so a later reader sees both the text and the judgement about it.

Boundaries

Annotation never rewrites original bytes or stored hashes. A quality assessment is an attributed opinion at a point in time, not a claim that the underlying material is correct.
